Shipping And Delivery Policy
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Spike Creations ("we", "our", or "us") manages the dispatch, shipment, and delivery of orders. As a made-to-order, export-oriented garment manufacturer, all shipments are handled in accordance with agreed production timelines, commercial terms, and international trade practices. By confirming an order with us, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Made-to-Order Manufacturing
All products are manufactured strictly according to confirmed orders. We do not maintain ready stock or off-the-shelf inventory. Every shipment is preceded by a structured production process that includes sourcing, knitting, dyeing, stitching, quality checks, finishing, and packing. As a result, shipping timelines are directly dependent on production completion and cannot be treated as immediate or standard dispatch timelines.
2. Order Processing And Production Timelines
Once an order is formally confirmed, production begins based on agreed specifications, approved samples, and material availability. Estimated production and dispatch timelines are communicated during the order confirmation stage. These timelines are carefully planned; however, they remain indicative unless explicitly committed to within a signed agreement. Production may be influenced by several factors, including order volume, design complexity, fabric sourcing timelines, and customization requirements. While we maintain structured workflows to ensure consistency, slight variations in timelines may occur as part of standard manufacturing realities.
3. Shipping Methods And Logistics Handling
Shipments are arranged through professional logistics partners selected based on reliability, destination, and delivery requirements. Depending on the nature of the order, goods may be shipped via air, sea, or land transport. The choice of shipping method is determined based on mutually agreed priorities such as cost, speed, and volume. Once goods are dispatched, the shipment is handled by third-party carriers. While we coordinate closely with these partners, the physical transportation process remains outside our direct control.
4. Delivery Terms And Risk Transfer
All shipments are governed by internationally recognized trade terms (Incoterms®), as agreed at the time of order confirmation. These terms define the point at which responsibility, risk, and cost transfer from Spike Creations to the client. Depending on the agreed Incoterm, responsibility for freight, insurance, customs clearance, and local delivery may rest partially or fully with the customer. Clients are expected to review and understand these terms before confirming an order. We recommend arranging appropriate insurance coverage wherever necessary to safeguard against transit-related risks.
5. Shipping Costs And Additional Charges
Shipping costs are not included in product pricing unless explicitly mentioned in the quotation or agreement. All freight charges are calculated based on shipment size, weight, destination, and chosen mode of transport. Any additional costs arising during transit or upon arrival, including customs duties, import taxes, port handling fees, or local delivery charges, are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Delivery Timelines And External Dependencies
Delivery timelines are influenced by multiple external factors beyond production, including shipping schedules, transit routes, customs clearance procedures, and destination-specific regulations. While we work with established logistics partners to ensure smooth movement of goods, we do not guarantee exact delivery dates. Delays may occur due to port congestion, inspections, documentation requirements, or unforeseen logistical disruptions. Spike Creations shall not be held liable for delays that arise after dispatch or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Customs Clearance And Import Responsibilities
For international shipments, the client is solely responsible for complying with all import regulations applicable in the destination country. This includes ensuring proper documentation, paying applicable duties and taxes, and coordinating with local authorities or clearing agents where required. We provide standard export documentation such as commercial invoices and packing lists. However, we are not responsible for delays, penalties, or shipment issues arising from customs processes, regulatory restrictions, or incomplete documentation on the client's end.
8. Packaging And Product Handling
All products are carefully packed to ensure they meet export standards and buyer-specific requirements. Garments are finished, folded, labeled, and packed based on agreed instructions. Packaging is designed to protect the integrity of the products during transit; however, once the shipment is handed over to the carrier, handling conditions are managed externally. Any special packaging requirements must be confirmed in advance as part of the order agreement.
9. Shipment Tracking And Communication
Where applicable, shipment tracking details are shared after dispatch to enable visibility during transit. While we aim to provide timely updates, tracking information is dependent on third-party logistics systems. Any delays or inaccuracies in tracking updates are beyond our direct control. We remain available for coordination and support throughout the shipping process, within reasonable limits.
10. Delays And Force Majeure
Spike Creations shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver arising from events beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, labor disruptions, government actions, political instability, or supply chain interruptions. In such cases, delivery timelines may be extended without liability, and both parties are expected to act reasonably to manage the situation.
11. Delivery Issues And Claims
Any issues related to shipment, including damage, shortages, or discrepancies, must be reported within a reasonable timeframe after receipt of goods. All claims must be supported with clear documentation, including photographs, shipment details, and relevant references. We reserve the right to review and validate all claims before determining an appropriate resolution. Where issues arise during transit, resolution may involve coordination with the logistics provider, and outcomes may depend on carrier terms and conditions.
12. Partial Shipments
In certain situations, orders may be dispatched in multiple shipments to optimize timelines or manage production flow. Wherever possible, such arrangements will be communicated in advance. Partial shipments do not constitute incomplete fulfillment but are part of logistical and operational efficiency.
13. Returns And Reverse Logistics
As all products are custom-manufactured, returns are not accepted as a standard practice. Any exceptions must be explicitly agreed upon in writing prior to order confirmation or addressed through a separate claims resolution process. Reverse logistics, where applicable, will be governed by mutually agreed terms.
14. Updates To This Policy
We may revise this Shipping & Delivery Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued engagement with our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
